Current work includes:
Research into the Silk Road, especially during the 2nd and 3rd centuries.
Research into the 11th century dukes of Aquitaine and Normandy, plus the life and legacy of Eleanor of Aquitaine, plus the Song dynasty in China.
Research into the effcts of exceptionalism at macro and micro levels in post-Covid societies.
All past work is too major to list easily, but elements will appear from time to time.
